- Our future plans include deliver of food through the use of free catering trucks in front of various County Welfare Offices, Social Security Offices, skid row. All food will be delivered to everyone without cost. We are developing funding and operational plans to begin this project.
- We must develop a fund raising effort to include the general public and government grants.. Our funding has come form the general public, this year we raised $ 1,500.00, and the rest our board members contributed. We lack any formal training and have very little understanding of the grant process, we seek your assistance.
- This organization seeks to provide on going help that will be there from year to year. Cooperation with other agencies is essential in providing care for those that suffer on our streets. We look forward in time to when we can support other groups by sharing our information with them, and as much new information as we can obtain would be greatly appreciated.
Self Assessment:
The investment of our time in the beginning stages in studding this process of understanding the complexities of homelessness has led us to believe that there is little attention by society to react to this problem on an effective basis, which leads to little intervention on the part of governmental agencies that have entitlement programs available to address this national disaster. We have come to conclude that not one child ever wanted to grow up to be broke hungry sick friendless and homeless.
