Please read the information below for people that are low income. WellCare offers people that are low income a Part D Drug Plan. Coverage with only a $1.00 and $3.00 dollar drug plan with no monthly payments WeCare Medicare Prescription Durg Plan Customer Service:                       1-888-550-5252. You may also visit their site at www.WellCarePDP.com  please call them even if Social Security has placed you into a Part D Drug Plan. Since your  low income you may change plans once a month until you find a plan that meets your needs.

Online Application to Apply for Low Income Subsidy for Medicare Part D
The Social Security Administration is responsible for processing applications to provide extra assistance with prescription drug costs for individuals with limited income.

The FPL, Federal Poverty Level is set at $14,355.00 per person, if your combined income, Social Security Disability (SSA.DI Title II) and your Social Security Retirement Income, and if your receiving Supplemental Security Income, SSI along with any other combined  income, bank Interest does not exceed $14,355.00 yearly income. Your Single your total net worth is no more than $11,500.00, Married total net worth is no more than $23,500.00, your Home is NOT Counted. You MUST APPLY for LOW INCOME Status before May 2006. After that date you will pay more for your coverage.  Please follow the link below, and file your application for low income. Do not depend on the Social Security Administration to place you into a Part D Low Incom Drug Plan that meets your needs. You must apply, please follow this link and answer all the questions, or if you can not file online please wisit your local Social Security office and ask for the low income form, fill it out and obtain a stamped copy of the low incom document you submited.  http://www.ssa.gov/prescriptionhelp/
